A documentary series that presents the very best of Serbian basketball in the last three decades.
These men, once worthy apprentices who, through diligent work, knowledge and natural talent, became respectable teachers, showing the public eye how these traits can be turned into trophies and titles. It was their destiny to mark, in golden letters, the starry road that had previously been paved by the great Yugoslav legends. A story of how boys become men and about men who went on to become legends and who will one day, unmistakenginly, be a part of history books in the world of sports.
Faithfully, fully dedicated, wisely and skillfully did these men made of gold fill up our basketball treasury, displaying throughout their irresistible charm that was later to become their trademark.

Whilst constantly seated at the throne of both European and world basketball, they have promoted Yugoslavia and Serbia into a great sports superpower.
Geniuses who knew how to consciously hold back their individual creativity in order to accommodate a collective need and spirit.
Among them there were admirers of the ‘golden seventies’ heroes.
Many of them played a prominent role in creating the ‘golden eighties’.
And a majority of these brave men have given us the ‘golden nineties’.

This is a story about men, whose names are well known, greatly respected and admired – not only by basketball fans; individuals and tales that must and should not be forgotten.
